Darlene graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy in 1998 as well as a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 1996. She has completed the McMaster Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program, Scalp and AFCI Acupuncture courses and uses Acupuncture extensively in her practice. She has completed her Level 2 Manual Therapy courses and has training in Active Release Techniques (A.R.T.) ™, Concussion Management, Guasha, Cupping and Kinesio-taping. She has developed an integrated treatment approach in her experienced orthopedic practice and enjoys seeing her clients achieve their goals.

Professionally, she has been a Peer Assessor with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario since 2019. She has volunteered on the Acupuncture Division Executive of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA) for 18 years as both Newsletter Editor and Treasurer. She has published articles in the Interdivisional Review Journal of the CPA and the Acupuncture Division Newsletter.

In her spare time, Darlene loves coaching girls’ rep volleyball and giving back to the sport that she is passionate about. Darlene also enjoys spending time with her family, escape rooms and pottery.
