Kinley Dorji
Resident Physiotherapist
Kinley is passionate about empowering his patients and patient centered care. He takes the time to explain, discuss and ensure his patient is involved in every step of
their care plan. Kinley completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Rajiv Ghandi University of Health Sciences, India, and his Master of Science in Rehabilitation at
McMaster University, where he received a Program Excellence Award.
Before moving to Canada, he has worked as physiotherapist in Bhutan for more than seven years in multidisciplinary settings such as outpatient clinic, hospitals, sports
organisations, and rehabilitation settings. His practice is guided by Evidence Based Practice, and he believes in continuous learning and education.
His ability to speak many different languages, including English, Hindi, Urdu Dzongkha, Nepali, Tibetan, and Pemakoe, allows him to connect and communicate with many different cultures.
Outside of the clinic, Kinley loves listening to podcasts and playing traditional Bhutanese archery.
